WHO WE ARE

Founded in 2005 as a federation of small, mostly volunteer-run groups, the National Queer Asian Pacific Islander Alliance empowers LGBTQ+ Asians and Pacific Islanders through movement capacity building, policy advocacy, and research.

We build the capacity of local, grassroots, and affinity-based LGBTQ+API groups; advance an intersectional justice and equity agenda for all communities we call home; and ensure inclusion everywhere, especially in research and resources.
