Our Impact

At NQAPIA (the National Queer Asian Pacific Islander Alliance), we believe in the power of people — and the strength of our stories, our movements, and our communities. Through campaigns, convenings, leadership programs, and grants, we work toward a world where queer and trans Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) people can live with safety, dignity, and joy.

This is what impact looks like when we lead with love, fight with purpose, and build together.

What We’ve Achieved

  • Amplified LGBTQ+ AANHPI voices through national media, digital campaigns, and cultural programming

  • Mobilized grassroots power in more than XX states to resist anti-trans, anti-LGBTQ+, and anti-immigrant legislation

  • Distributed $20,000 in mini-grants to fund grassroots organizing projects nationwide in the past year

  • Connected hundreds of leaders through regional convenings and national leadership programs

Equipped communities with advocacy tools for safety and visibility — available in English and multiple AANHPI languages

We are proud of these accomplishments — and we’re just getting started.

Accountability Matters

Our impact is not just measured in numbers — it’s reflected in the stories, survival, and joy of our communities. We remain committed to transparency, sustainability, and centering the needs of LGBTQ+ AANHPI people most impacted by injustice.
