We expect about 300 LGBTQ Asian American and Pacific Islanders to join us from July 19-22, 2012 and we need your help to make this a successful conference.
We’re hoping to recruit 30-40 volunteers for the conference so please spread the word and share with your friends!
In exchange for every four-hour shift, you’ll be able to attend the rest of that day’s sessions for no charge. Also, if you work 2 or more shifts, you’ll be able to attend the Community Catalyst Awards Gala Dinner and Celebration on Sat, July 21 from 6:30-10 PM for $20 (tickets are valued at $90).
Note: As part of your volunteer commitment, you MUST attend a Volunteer Orientation Training on Sunday, July 15 from 2-4 PM at the Crystal Marriott Hotel at 1700 Jefferson Davis Highway, Arlington, Virginia. During the orientation you will be assigned your volunteer task and will also go on a walkthrough of the hotel.
