The 2016 Summit will be hosted at the DoubleTree by Hilton. All participants will stay at the DoubleTree, and all workshops will be held there. On Friday and Saturday nights, we will host off-site dinners.
DoubleTree by Hilton New Orleans
300 Canal St
New Orleans, LA 70130
NQAPIA will cover housing for all participants for two nights (Friday, August 12 and Saturday, August 13). If you will be attending a Pre-Summit Meeting, your stay will begin one night earlier on Thursday, August 11.
Rooms will be double-occupancy. Please designate on your registration if you have roommate preferences (e.g., a specific person, a gender preference).
If you would like to stay at the DoubleTree additional days before or after the Summit, the hotel will continue to honor our group rate of $119 per night plus tax. You must pay for this additional accommodation on your own, but contact Tia at firstname.lastname@example.org to book your extended stay.
Hospitality Suite – Presidential Penthouse, 17th Floor
We intend for this to be an alternative space that is alcohol-free and especially welcoming space for young people, women, and people of transgender experience.
Gender-Neutral Restrooms – 16th Floor
Gender-neutral restrooms are located on the 16th floor in the DoubleTree and at off-site locations of VAYLA.
Rebellion Bar & Urban Kitchen
As the first night with everyone together, we will welcome each other to New Orleans with a cross-cultural fusion of Asian and Southern cuisine and unique cocktails at Rebellion Bar & Urban Kitchen.
There is a cash bar. Dinner is included in your registration. If you did not mark your dietary needs on your registration, please inform Tia at email@example.com.
As we have booked the entire restaurant for the evening, gender-neutral restrooms are available at Rebellion.
On Saturday night, we will have a Community Catalyst Awards Dinner & Fundraiser at August Moon. August Moon serves family-style Vietnamese and Chinese cuisine. To ensure that everyone has a full meal, vegetarians will be seated at designated tables. If you have strict dietary restrictions, you may order directly off the menu.
There are no gender-neutral restrooms at August Moon because this is a shared space with the main restaurant patrons. Please use the gender of your choice. If you ask, staff and volunteers are happy to escort you.
